Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo voters have until 7:00 p.m. to cast a ballot in the 2021 federal election
KAMLOOPS — Monday (Sept. 20) is the final day to vote in the 2021 federal election and polling stations around the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding have seen a steady flow of voters coming through the doors.
Andrea Marantz with Elections Canada says with BC polls closing at 7:00 p.m. there is usually a swell of last minute voter turn out between 6:00 and 7:00. However as long as you’re in line by 7:00 p.m. you can still cast a ballot.
“What happens is one of the poll workers will come out and mark the end of the line at 7:00, and if you’re behind that line — you’ve missed it. But anyone that is in line before 7:00 can definitely vote tonight.”
