Reminder: what voters need before they head to the polls
KAMLOOPS — Canadian citizens who have not yet voted via mail-in ballot or advanced polls will make their decision Monday (Sept. 20).
Any Canadian citizen who is at least 18 years old and can prove their identity and address can go to the polls. Canadians can check if they’re registered to vote at their current address here.
Voters are recommended to bring their information card that was emailed to them, along with accepted ID, to make the voting process easier. The voter information card shows election workers that a voter’s registration is up to date and shows a polling number to help workers direct them to the right table.
