Kamloops Mounties searching for suspect in walkie-talkie heist

KAMLOOPS – RCMP are hoping the public can identify a suspect in the theft of nearly a dozen walkie-talkies from a downtown business.
In a release, RCMP say members were alerted to a break-in at a business in the 400 block of Seymour Street. The notice was received around 8:30 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 12) however investigators believe the break-in occurred around 5 a.m. that morning.
Surveillance video revealed a suspect. He is described as Caucasian, with short blond hair and baggy pants.
If someone can identify the suspect, they are asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and refer to file number 2021-31710.
