Provincial, Interior active cases down, but 661 new COVID-19 cases found in B.C.
VICTORIA — B.C.’s active caseload is down Wednesday (Sept. 15), a glimmer of hope amid the fourth wave of COVID-19.
In a news release, B.C.’s health ministry says there were 661 new cases of COVID-19 found Wednesday, including 196 within Interior Health.
Active totals dropped to 5,791 cases in B.C. and 1,536 in the Interior region.
Hospitalizations remain steady, with 288 patients in hospital and 137 in intensive care.
