Kamloops RCMP seek assistance in fraud investigation

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public for help with a fraud investigation that began in late July.
Images of a fraud suspect on July 31 were received after a bank contacted RCMP to report a suspicious person allegedly trying to impersonate a woman whose identification had been stolen.
The fraud suspect is described as a Caucasian woman with shoulder length brown hair, wearing white shorts, a pink top, a black blazer, and a dark purse.
“So far police have been unable to identify the woman,” Cst. Crystal Evelyn says. We are turning to the public to see if anyone else is able to provide more information to help further this investigation.”
