Smooth start to vaccine card checks at recreational facilities in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS — While some individuals are voicing their opposition to being asked to provide proof of vaccination cards for non-essential activities, it’s been a quiet adjustment at City of Kamloops recreation facilities.
The City’s Recreation, Health and Wellness Supervisor, Linda Stride, says the majority of people who have used the Tournament Capital Centre on Day One are fine with the carding process.
“I think most people have come prepared. We’ve had the odd one that have forgotten something and had to run to the vehicle to get the appropriate ID, but so far everybody coming in has been easy to deal with.”
