ARIANA GRANDE SHOCKED TO HEAR HER SONG IN ‘GOSSIP GIRL’: Ariana Grande had no idea that her song “Positions” was going to appear in the HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl.   The singer told  Allure that she watched the show “religiously growing up” and had a “heart attack” when she heard Kristen Bell’s voice  saying Gossip Girl stuff” with her song in the background.

LANA DEL REY QUIT SOCIAL MEDIA: Lana Del Rey is ending her relationship with social media.  The singer-songwriter released a video over the weekend (September 12th) announcing that she plans to step away from her accounts because she is currently working on projects that “require privacy and transparency.”  Before signing off she did share a few details about her upcoming album, Blue Banisters, explaining that it is made up of both old and new material, and that some of it was written by family members.

BSB CANCEL LAS VEGAS RESIDENCY: Backstreet Boys’ Christmas album and Las Vegas residency are the latest casualties of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The announced on Instagram that they will wait until 2022 to release A BSB Christmas Album and cancel the limited run of Christmas shows.  They wrote, “We are so excited and proud of what we have and the way it’s all coming together.  We feel that this is one of our best creations yet and that this creation deserves the best possible scenario and setup for success.”
