WHL announces schedule changes due to COVID
KAMLOOPS — With the uncertainty surrounding COVID, different restriction in different B.C. Health Authorities and the ongoing border restrictions, the Western Hockey League has made some changes to the September pre-season and October regular season schedules.
The Blazers were originally schedule to play six pre-season games this month — three at home and three away.
That number will now be five, with only one home game, September 24 versus Kelowna.
In October teams in the B.C. Division will only play other B.C. teams while U.S. teams will only play U.S. teams.
