Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo candidates debate climate change and the environment
KAMLOOPS — An all-candidates debate focusing on the environment and impacts of climate change featuring nominees in the Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo riding is taking place 12 days before the 2021 federal election.
The debate comes after Kamloops and area experienced a summer of heat domes, wildfires, and drought. The debate, co-sponsored by Transition Kamloops and the Kamloops Chapter of the BC Sustainable Energy Association, is part of the 100 Debates on the Environment, a pan-Canadian initiative led by GreenPAC in partnership with Canadian organizations and individuals across the country.
The following federal candidates for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo have confirmed their participation:
