B.C. adds 671 new COVID-19 infections; 230 cases and three deaths in Interior Health
VICTORIA — B.C. health officials are reporting another 671 cases of COVID-19 Friday (Sept. 3), including 230 in Interior Health.
In a news release, the provincial health ministry notes hospitalization has jumped by 16 to 215, with 118 people in intensive care.
There are 5,872 active cases of the virus in B.C., including 1,965 in Interior Health — a decrease from Thursday.
Three more people have died of the virus, all in IH. The overall death toll from COVID-19 in B.C. is now at 1,827.
