RCMP celebrate Dog Appreciation Day

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are celebrating Dog Appreciation Day, putting some members of their K-9 team in the spotlight.
Corporal Dana Napier of the Kamloops RCMP Detachment’s Crime Prevention Unit says police dogs provide a public service while also providing their human partners with a rewarding friendship.
According to an RCMP news release, “Mounties are no stranger to the rewarding and pawsitive experience having a dog on your team brings.”
