Motorcyclist killed in Pinantan-Pritchard Road crash Wednesday

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Rural RCMP and the B.C. Coroners Service are trying to piece together what contributed to a motorcycle crash that killed a Kamloops man Wednesday (Aug. 25).

Sgt. Darren Michels says emergency responders were called to Pinantan-Pritchard Road northeast of Kamloops at about 3:35 p.m.

Two passers-by had come across a single-vehicle motorcycle crash where the motorcycle had left the road.

The rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

Michels says it is not believed there were any witnesses to the crash, but if anyone saw the rider in the time before the crash, they are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at (250) 828-3000.
