B.C. records 724 new cases of COVID-19; hospitalizations up to 149

VICTORIA — B.C. is reporting another 724 cases of COVID-19 Thursday, as the province stays on the leading edge of a fourth wave of the virus.

According to the Ministry of Health, there were 271 new cases in Interior Health.

The active caseload has risen to 5,640 for the province, including 2,014 in IH.

There are 149 people in hospital and 83 in intensive care.
