CFJC Midday — Kamloops Food Bank’s Starfish Backpack program is getting ready for a new school year!

It’s almost back to school time! Corra Gassner, Kamloops Food Bank Director of Resource Development, joins Dylana on Midday to share what this year’s Starfish Backpack program will be doing to keep students fed and ready to learn!

The program was spearheaded by Christopher Seguin, and is now in its 5^th year. Starfish Backpacks will provide meals to about 140 elementary school children this year who may not have enough food to get through weekends.
