Man cleaning up neglected Gold Bridge-area property was actually breaking and entering: RCMP
LILLOOET, B.C. — RCMP in Lillooet are reporting an incident many property owners would consider a positive situation, even when one did not.
According to a news release, it happened at a property on Gun Lake near Gold Bridge last Wednesday (Aug. 11). A local man who was keeping an eye on his neighbour’s property discovered a strange man on site “who stated that he was intending to fix up the place” after a period of neglect. The property’s owner had not been back in several years.
The witness noted the grass had been mowed, the gravel had been groomed and there was a can of stain on the deck.
Inside the home, nothing had been disturbed or stolen.
