RCMP and Coroners Service investigating sudden death on the North Shore

KAMLOOPS — An investigation is ongoing following a sudden death on the North Shore this morning (Aug. 10).

Kamloops RCMP responded to a parking lot on the 200-block of Tranquille Road at around 4:50 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of an unconscious man in medical distress.

A man was pronounced dead on scene when first responders attended. At this time, no criminality is suspected.

RCMP said the B.C. Coroners Service has been notified and is also investigating. No further information is available.
