Caputo wins Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo Conservative Nomination

KAMLOOPS — Another candidate announced to replace Cathy McLeod as our MP in Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo.

The Conservatives announced yesterday that Frank Caputo will be their candidate, joining the NDP’s Bill Sundhu, George Petel for the Liberals and Corally Delwo for the Peoples’ Party of Canada.

Caputo, who is a Crown Prosecutor, beat out three other nominees also seeking to replace Cathy McLeod, who decided not to run for re-election.

Prime Minister Trudeau is widely expected to call an election within the next month.
