Evacuation Order issued because of threatening Lytton Creek wildfire

KAMLOOPS – The Lytton Creek Wildfire is threatening some properties along the eastern edge of the Fraser River, northeast of Lytton. It has prompted the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) to issue an Evacuation Order Friday (Aug. 6) evening.

The TNRD issued the order for 6 properties addressed as:

• 5245 to 5997 Lytton-Lillooet Hwy 12; and
• any other properties located within the area noted on the map below.
