Kamloops Mounties ask public for information about stolen van used in robbery
KAMLOOPS – Kamloops RCMP are reaching out to the public for information on a stolen blue van which was used in a robbery Tuesday.
The Serious Crimes Unit and General Investigation Services Team are asking the public to report any instances of when they may have seen the 1994 Plymouth motorhome van recently. Police are particularly interested in any observations of the van on B.C. Day, Aug. 2, or on the day of the robbery, Aug. 3.
“If you saw this van driving around town, stopped at a light, or saw some people coming or going from it, please give us a call,” said Constable Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. “If you have any dash cam or surveillance you can review to see if it appears in the footage, it may be helpful in assisting police to further the investigation.”
The van was stolen from the 500-block of Munro Street overnight between Sunday and Monday.
