A Way Home Kamloops and Executive Director part ways

KAMLOOPS — Six months after she took on the role, Sadie Hunter and A Way Home Kamloops have parted ways.

Hunter took the job in February of this year after the untimely death of the organization’s founder, Katherine McParland.

No one is saying whether Hunter resigned or was let go. All we know at this point is that Hunter is no longer in the position. Tangie Genshorek took over as the acting head last Friday.

Hunter said in a written statement that the departure comes with a “heavy heart”.
