KAMLOOPS — After spending the first five years of his pro hockey career with Detroit, Joe Hicketts is going from a Wing to Wild.
The 25-year old from Kamloops has signed a two year, $1.5 million deal with the Minnesota Wild.
Hicketts played most of his five years in the Detroit organization with their American League farm team the Grand Rapids Griffins, where he played in 286 games scoring 16 goals and 102 points
