One person sent to hospital after plane overturns on Kamloops Lake
UPDATE (3:40 p.m.): Kamloops RCMP responded to a report involving a small plane that was found upside down in Kamloops Lake near Frederick Road.
Cst. Crystal Evelyn said the lone occupant of the plane swam to shore with what appeared to be minor injuries before being transferred to hospital. She said the plane was moved to a safe spot in the water and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
B.C. Wildfire Service told CFJC Today the plane isn’t a firefighting aircraft.
