One dead after truck drives into lake south of Clinton

CLINTON, B.C. — One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash about 10 kilometres south of Clinton on Sunday.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says just after 9 p.m. that night a truck travelling along Highway 97 drove into Six Mile Lake.
She says there were two people in the truck and that one person managed to survive.
No word on what caused the crash though Saunderson says it remains under investigation.
