Grimwood to take over as Storm head coach, Gainey becomes Director of Hockey Operations

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Storm have a new head coach.
Geoff Grimwood is taking over behind the bench, replacing Steve Gainey, who will now take over the team’s Director of Hockey Operations.
Grimwood comes to the Storm after experience in the B.C. Hockey League, as well as the Saskatchewan and Manitoba Junior Hockey Leagues.
General manager Matt Kolle targeted Grimwood specifically, knowing he has been successful at the junior level in developing quality players.
