Britney’s Battle Rages On

Britney Spears’ new attorney told reporters Monday (July 19th) that he and his firm are “moving aggressively and expeditiously to file a petition to remove Jamie Spears unless he resigns first.”

Mathew Rosengart spoke to the press outside of the Los Angeles county courthouse following a brief court hearing regarding Britney’s temporary conservator, Jodi Montgomery’s request for 24-hour security.  No decisions were made in the matter and it will be continued until Monday, July 26th.

Meanwhile, The Blast reports that the pop star was spotted wearing a giant diamond ring while out with boyfriend Sam Asghari on Sunday (July 18th). At this point, she is not allowed to get married in the state of California, due to the fact that she is unable to sign a binding contract while under a conservatorship.
