Blazers promote Clouston to GM, O’Donovan to serve as assistant GM
KAMLOOPS — Three weeks after Matt Bardsley left his role as Blazers general manager, the team has announced his replacement, promoting Shaun Clouston to the position.
Clouston, who spent six seasons as head coach and GM in Medicine Hat until being fired by the Tigers in 2019, will remain behind the bench.
“I’ve loved my time here. It’s been two years. We have a great group of players. We have a great staff. I’ve really enjoyed making Kamloops my home,” he said during a media conference on Tuesday morning (July 20). “I’ve moved my family here and we love Kamloops and I really love being a Blazer.”
