Kamloops residents allowed to attend council meetings in person again

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is allowing residents back to council meetings and public hearings under Step Three of B.C.’s Restart.

All Kamloops meetings are currently being held in the Valley First Lounge at Sandman Centre where there is enough space to physically distance.

The City asks that residents follow all public health orders while attending public meetings, including wearing a mask in indoor public places until fully vaccinated and when physical distancing is not possible.

Virtual participation will remain an option for the foreseeable future via Zoom and the city’s YouTube account.
