Segment of Flat Lake Evacuation Order rescinded

WILLIAMS LAKE – The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) has rescinded a portion of the Flat Lake to Green Lake North Evacuation Order and replace it with an Evacuation Alert.

The order was issued Wednesday (July 14).

The CRD states in a news release that while respecting the risk due to the wildfires, it believes the change is necessary to allow residents in the Watch Lake Area to travel to and from their properties.
