Kamloops RCMP looking for owner of wooden urn

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for the owner of what is believed to be a wooden urn.

In June, police were contacted regarding a wooden urn, and what appeared to be a bag of ashes, turned into a local shelter. The items were reportedly found in a dumpster.

“Police have been unable to determine exactly what the ashes are at this time but encourage anyone who may know anything about the box’s origins to please contact the Kamloops RCMP,” Cst. Crystal Evelyn said.
