KAMLOOPS — Wednesday, June 30 will be a unique opportunity for listeners of B100 and 98.3 CIFM to learn of Indigenous history.

All 48 Pattison Media radio stations will be part of a group of more than 400 stations across Canada participating in a program called “A Day to Listen”.

Broadcasting on the final day of National Indigenous History Month in Canada, “A Day to Listen” will share stories from Indigenous leaders, elders, and residential school survivors. The stories are meant to create a better understanding of Canada’s history as a nation and open the door to improving the process of reconciliation.

Along with music and newscasts, B100 and 98.3 CIFM will air vignettes of First Nations talking about First Nations history.
