Fiery crash kills driver near Williams Lake

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — For the second day in a row, RCMP in Williams Lake are reporting a death on the roads.

This incident occurred Monday (June 28) at about 3:50 p.m. along Highway 20 near the community.

Emergency responders were called to a vehicle fully engulfed in flames. Once firefighters extinguished the flames, the body of a person was discovered inside.

RCMP are trying to determine what caused the crash and fire.
