Potential COVID-19 exposure at Lytton school

KAMLOOPS — Kumsheen Secondary School in Lytton has been added to Interior Health’s COVID-19 exposure list.

A potential exposure event took place between June 16 and 18, and June 21 and 22. Kumsheen Secondary is the only active SD74 exposure notice.

In Kamloops, the only exposure notice is McGowan Park Elementary on June 16. There are no active exposure notices in SD53 Okanagan Similkameen or SD58 Nicola-Similkameen.

Students and staff who may have been in direct contact with the COVID-positive individual are being contacted by health and school officials with further instructions.

All who are not contacted are asked to attend school as normal.
