Search suspended for missing Quesnel man

QUESNEL, B.C. — The search for a missing 69-year old Quesnel man has been suspended.

Quesnel RCMP received word that the man had gone missing last Thursday (June 17).

His wife last saw Norman Lawrence earlier that day, as he was headed to the Naver Creek area.

RCMP, along with Search and Rescue teams from throughout the province, and the Police Dog Services searched the area but were unable to locate Mr. Lawrence.

Search efforts continued throughout the following days but were unsuccessful. In consultation with EMBC and various SAR Managers, the active search has been suspended.
