Active cases remain unchanged in Island Health, two new

NANAIMO — The central and southern areas of Island Health split two new COVID-19 cases.

One new case in each area was announced on Thursday, June 24. This is the second day of two new cases in Island Health.

There are currently 15 active cases in the central area and nine in the south, with one remaining case in the north.

Island Health has 25 active cases, the same as the day before.

Across B.C. a further 75 new cases were announced, with more than half in the Fraser Health region.

Three new fatalities were confirmed.
