RAW VIDEO: Wildfire ignites near Inks Lake

KAMLOOPS — Ten B.C. Wildfire Service personnel are on site with Kamloops Fire Rescue to attend a half-hectare wildfire that’s listed as out of control.
A fire has broken out Wednesday afternoon (June 23) alongside the Coquihalla Highway near the Inks Lake turnoff. B.C. Wildfire Service said smoke is visible but there’s no impact to the highway at this time.
Video from the scene shows flames on the east side of the highway, getting into brush and trees.
