KAMLOOPS — The spread of COVID-19 in Kamloops declined again last week.
In the latest update to the case count map broken down by Local Health Area (LHA), the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported 12 COVID-19 cases in the Kamloops area for the week of June 6 to 12. That’s down from 15 the week before.
Case counts were down for some communities in Interior Health last week, including a drop of 15 cases in Kelowna and four in Vernon.
However, communities such as Merritt and Cariboo/Chilcotin saw new COVID-19 cases after not reporting any last week.
