Britney Spears set to appear remotely for next court hearing
Britney Spears will not appear in person at the next court date in her conservatorship battle.
According to a press release, The Los Angeles Counter Superior Court confirmed Monday (June 14th) that “all parties, including Ms. Spears, are scheduled to appear remotely” for the June 23rd hearing.”
The court has also ruled that cameras will not be allowed inside the courtroom, however, a live audio feed will be available. There will also be limited seating in both the main courtroom and an overflow room.
It will be Spears’ first time addressing LA Superior Court Judge Brenda Penny, who presides over her conservatorship case. Sources told Page Six in May that the pop star’s primary focus will be to have her father Jamie Spears, removed from the case.
