KAMLOOPS — United Way Thompson Nicola Cariboo (TNC) announced a total of $1,187,901 raised in the 2020 campaign season, by way of individual and corporate donations, special events and sponsorships.

Along with additional emergency funding provided by the federal government, United Way TNC collected a grand total of $2,244,355 to make impactful change in the region. United Way TNC distributes dollars to deserving charitable organizations in the community to help make the change they wish to see.

“Thanks to workplace campaigns, last year we were able to support over 50 charities and programs throughout the region, both financially and through shared impact resources and capacity building initiatives,” United Way TNC Executive Director Katie Neustaeter stated.

A drive-in style campaign celebration event was held in an open field on Friday (June 11) with United Way TNC and some of its top supporters.
