Road rage near 108 Mile Elementary during school hours
108 MILE RANCH, B.C. — A road rage incident happened within the 108 Mile Elementary school zone Monday (June 14) morning.
100 Mile House RCMP said two drivers pulled over into the school parking late and got into a verbal confrontation, after an off-duty B.C. Highway Patrol officer observed a “traffic incident” between them. The off-duty officer intervened and the two were separated and sent on their way with cooler heads. No injuries were reported.
Police said the road rage incident took place as children were being picked up and dropped off at the school. 100 Mile House RCMP called it utter disregard of public safety, and appropriate action is being taken to hold the two men involved accountable.
