RIH sidewalk construction reduces Third Avenue to single lane traffic

Jun 14, 2021 | 11:36 AM

KAMLOOPS – People attending Royal Inland Hospital (RIH) in Kamloops between June 14 and 22 should be aware of construction that will reduce Third Avenue to single-lane traffic only.

As part of the RIH Patient Care Tower Project, crews will be working on a new sidewalk along Third Avenue. People with appointments at the hospital on these dates may wish to consider allowing extra time to reach their destinations.

Construction is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. Traffic control flaggers will be in place to help direct vehicles and pedestrians.
