Tk’emlups te Secwépemc approved for affordable housing project

Tk’emlups — Kukpi7 / Chief Rosanne Casimir revealed Tk’emlups te Secwépemc (TteS) was a successful applicant of an affordable housing project.
TteS will build 28 townhomes and an apartment building that will consist of 30 units. The townhouses will be three- and four-bedroom units and the apartments are one and two bedrooms.
“They will be serving the needs of our families, elders, and low-income individuals as well as those with disabilities who are members of TteS,” Casimir stated.
The project will be funded through B.C. Housing, and is in addition to the Rapid Housing Elders project at Tyee Park.
