The woman found dead in her Naramata home on June 9, by RCMP Major Crime Investigators has been positively identified as 57-year-old Kathleen Richardson.

“We are releasing Kathleen’s name in order to help further the ongoing investigation,” BC RCMP spokesperson Dawn Roberts.said.“Investigators want to speak to anyone who had dealings with Kathleen in the days before her death, Understanding her movements or activities will help continue to move this investigation forward.”

Police are also asking for any dash cam video from anyone who was driving in the Naramata area on Monday June 6 through Wednesday June 9. The village only has one road in and out, or water access.

Investigators continue to believe Richardson’s death is related to the double homicide which occurred last month. Brothers 29-year old Erick and 31-year old Carlos Fryer were found dead in a remote area near Naramata.
