Taylor Swift celebrated her record-setting vinyl sales of her album, Evermore, by giving a song to her fans. She posted a note on Instagram to her Swifties and told them that the “Willow” remix was a thank you from her.
The song was available to download from her website all day yesterday (6-3).
Her album, Evermore, set the record for the biggest sales week for a vinyl album in the U.S. since MRC Data began tracking sales in 1991.
SIDE NOTES
- In just three days, the vinyl edition of Evermore sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S.
- Evermore was initially released digitally and through streamers on Dec. 11, 2020, but its vinyl edition was not issued until May 28.
