COVID-19 cases declining steadily in Kamloops; big spike in Vernon last week

KAMLOOPS — The latest COVID-19 case count data from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control shows steadily declining cases in the Kamloops area.

A map of cases broken down by Local Health Area (LHA) shows 20 cases in Kamloops for the week of May 23 to 29. That’s down from 22 the previous week.

Case totals were steady for most of Interior Health last week – with the exception of Vernon, which saw a big jump in cases from 16 to 57.
