B.C. COVID-19 case count grows by 194; 33 in Interior Health
VICTORIA — For the second consecutive day, B.C. has recorded fewer than 200 new cases of COVID-19.
In a prepared statement, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry reports 194 new cases in the province Wednesday (June 2), including 33 within Interior Health.
Overall, B.C. has recorded 144,667 cases of the virus, spread out as follows:
- 34,947 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 33)
- 84,315 — Fraser Health (up by 122)
- 5,062 — Island Health (up by 2)
- 12,454 — Interior Health (up by 33)
- 7,689 — Northern Health (up by 4)
- 200 — Reside outside of Canada (unchanged)
