Taylor Swift Sets Another Record

In only three days, Taylor Swift’s Evermore has set the record for the biggest sales week for a vinyl album in the U.S.

According to MRC Data, the vinyl edition of Evermore, released on May 28th, sold over 40,000 copies in the U.S. through May 30th.

Swift beats out the previous record holder, Jack White’s Lazaretto, which launched with 40,000 copies in the week ending June 15th, 2014.

Both records were set after MRC data began tracking sales in 1991.
