Province records lowest daily COVID-19 case count since October with 184 new infections
VICTORIA — B.C. has recorded its lowest daily COVID-19 case count in more than eight months.
In a prepared update, Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says B.C. found 184 cases of COVID-19 Tuesday (June 1), including 19 in Interior Health.
Overall, the province has recorded 144,473 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, spread out thusly:
- 34,914 — Vancouver Coastal (up by 48)
- 84,193 — Fraser Health (up by 113)
- 5,060 — Island Health (up by 1)
- 12,421 — Interior Health (up by 19)
- 7,684 — Northern Health (up by 2)
- 200 — Reside outside of Canada (up by 1)
