Update on Gaga’s Dog Walker

Lady Gaga’s dog walker, Ryan Fischer is slowly recuperating after taking a bullet and almost losing his life back in February.
He’s still unable to get back to work and care for the dogs. He wrote on Instagram that along with the media attention and trauma recovery, he feels he’s without purpose, and says “The scars aren’t all visible, but they’re still fresh.”
He suffered a collapsed lung and had surgery for partial removal. In all, the attack caused him to spend nearly a month in the hospital.
On February 24, he was walking Gaga’s three dogs when a gunman shot him and took 2 of the dogs. The dogs were later returned and the criminals were arrested.
