Three Blazers among North American players in final NHL Central Scouting draft rankings.
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have three roster players in NHL Central Scouting’s Final Rankings. Forward Logan Stankoven is ranked at 31, Caedan Bankier at 102 and Josh Pillar at 166 among North American skaters.
Stankoven played only six games this season, but scored seven goals and had three assists for 10 points. He won a Gold Medal with Canada at the Under-18 World Championships earlier this month in Texas and had four goals and four assists for eight points in seven games at the tournament.
Bankier was one of the Blazers top performers with 11 goals, 12 assists and 23 points in 22 games this season. The 6’2” and 190lb center finished third in team scoring and helped the Blazers to an 18-4-0-0 record and their second straight B.C. Division title.
Pillar had an outstanding season for the Blazers as he led the team in scoring with 11 goals, 18 assists and 29 points in 22 games. The 6’0” and 180lb forward from Warman, SK completed his third season with the Blazers.
