Kamloops COVID-19 case count dropped to 22 last week: BCCDC

KAMLOOPS — The latest COVID-19 data from the B.C. Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) shows a marked decrease in new cases in Kamloops last week.
The Local Health Area (LHA) map updated on the BCCDC website shows 22 new cases of the virus in the Kamloops area for the week of May 16 to 22. That is down from 32 cases the previous week.
There was little movement in other areas around Kamloops, with the exception of Kelowna, which saw a second consecutive week with a significant increase, gaining 224 cases.
